A rare native to the Albanian Alps. Forming a stunning low clump of long, shiny leaves with scalloped edges. Stems rise above, bearing spikes of deep-blue tubular flowers during the summer. Prefers rich and gritty soil that stays moist, but also well drained. This evergreen plant is challenging to grow, and is not recommended for regular garden conditions. Not a good choice for regions with hot, humid summers.
