Description

Teucrium marum
CAT THYME

Teucrium marum CAT THYME is a grey foliage shrub with Magenta flowers. Refered to as “Cat Thyme” because it acts as a stimulant, however it is not a thyme plant at all and has its own aroma.
The leaves and younger growth when fresh when rubbed together have a pungent, aromatic smell. Yet in taste they are somewhat bitter, accompanied with a slight sensation of heat, but not spicy at all. A very unique plant.
