A relative of the true catnip (Nepeta cataria) with leaves that release a sweet aromatic fragrance when crushed, but are rather less enticing to cats. One of the largest flowered Nepeta with the most beautiful, very large pastel blue heads that look superb with roses of any colour. Very free, generous and long bloomer throughout summer and early autumn. Flowers along tall upstanding stems 75cm over an attractive compact clump forming foliage. Full sun or ½ shade. Frost hardy, easy to grow and drought tolerant.
