Geranium ‘Anne Thomson’

A flashing beauty with brilliant magenta blooms with striking black eyes. 30cm high neat mound of foliage, which has a soft golden glow in spring. Forms a mounding, dense groundcover. Happy in half Shade to Sun gardens. Easy to get along with plant. Hardy in heat & frost. Rabbit resistant. Winner of the award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural, especially noted for long flowering and hardiness.

Growing: Geranium ‘Anne Thomson’

– Height with flowers: 30cm approx.
– Width: 60cm approx.
– Position: Full sun, can tolerate Partial shade.
– Soil: Well drained, Will enjoy most soils as long as it isn’t frequently wet.
– Fragrance: Scented foliage.
– Frost: Hardy
– Growth: Perennial.
– Attracts: Another pollinator friendly plant, attracting birds, bees and other beneficial insects to the garden. 
– Care:  Prefers deep watering and drying out between waters (avoid over-head).
– Deer & Rabbit resistant: Geraniums have a slight scent that smells nice to us but isn’t appetising to deer or rabbits.
