Digitalis obscura ‘Sunset Foxglove’ – Native to the mountains of Spain, his rare and lovely foxglove is one of the very best in cultivationIt prefers well-drained soils & does well in both full sun with dry conditions and also in moister, shadier sites. It blooms from late spring to mid-summer with striking bell-shaped blooms in all the colours of the sunset.
Rusty-amber. 60cm.

– Height with flowers: 60cm approx.
– Width: 30cm approx.
– Position: Partial Shade, Woodlands, Dappled Light, Full Sun.
– Soil: Rich, Well Drained.
– Frost: Hardy
– Growth: Perennial
– Attracts: Attracts and feeds nectar seeking birds, butterflies and bees.
Beware: All parts of any foxglove are toxic to humans and other mammals.
– Care: Deadhead central flower spikes after three-fourths of it has faded to encourage more flowers.
– Deer & Rabbit resistant: Toxic; deer and rabbits should be to smart to have a nibble.
