Rose pink bells bob and sway in any breeze, on elegant 1m. tall arching wands. Easy to see how they get the common name of “Fairy Fishing Rods”. Spectacular in summer, as the bells open in succession along the long wands. Very hardy once your clump is established. Will cope in dry, wet, Sun or Part Shade / Dappled Sun. Evergreen foliage from a permanent corm. Hardy, easy, low care, but very spectacular. Frost hardy. Hardy choice for windy and seaside gardens. Often planted beside water troughs or ponds to take advantage of the “Fairy Fishing Rods” appearance, but do not need a damp spot – it just looks romantic. Resent pots, and hate being disturbed.
